Germany issued these Silver coins in 1929 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Gotthold Lessing. The famous German writer, philosopher, and art critic is pictured in profile on the obverse. The reverse shows a small eagle surrounded by the legend and value.
The total Silver content of this piece is .2411 oz. Examples may be cleaned, but have strong extra-fine to Almost Uncirculated details. KM# 60.
