This partially colored .925 fine Proof Silver coin illustrates Kizhi Pogost. About 80 buildings, such as churches, chapels and windmills in Karelian wooden architecture, are situated on the remote Island Kizhi on Lake Onega in Russia. The most impressive church, due to its striking silvery domes, is Kizhi Pogost. The church was built in 1714 and is the only preserved wooden church in Russia today. The coin comes with original capsule and certificate of authenticity.
