This Gold stater, from a historic period in ancient Rome, was struck around the time of Brutus' participation in the assassination of Julius Caesar. This coin is approximately 19 mm in diameter and weighs approx. 8.4 g.

Obverse: Roman consul walking left. Reverse: Eagle with spread wings standing left on horizontal spear, clutching laurel wreath in its talons.
