The coin’s reverse features a colored representation of Australia’s first ten shilling banknote. The inscription AUSTRALIA’S FIRST BANKNOTE 100th ANNIVERSARY and the dates 1913 – 2013 are portrayed on the coin. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark is also incorporated into the design. The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination. Two official Australia Post stamps with denominations of 60c and $2.60 complete the set.
The coin is housed in a contemporary display case and illustrated shipper with numbered COA.
