First is 3 large 500 GRAM .999 Fine Silver medal. Each contains 16.075 Troy Ounces of Pure Silver! The obverse depicts the bust of Christopher Columbus as seen on the 1892 and 1893 World's Columbian Exposition Commemorative Half Dollars. Columbus' portrait is layered in 24KT Gold, and the obverse legend reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA * 1492 * COLUMBUS * 1992 *" The reverse depicts one of Columbus' ships and bears the inscription "FIVE HUNDRED YEARS COMMEMORATIVE - 500 GRAMS."
Next, there is a smaller version of the same medal, but these 3 weigh 500 Grains each (1.04 Troy Ounces).
All pieces are numbered "137" out of 2,500 pieces. In total, this is more than 51 Troy Ounces of Silver, housed in a beautiful cherrywood presentation box. Each medal is housed in a capsule to protect the proof finish with certificate of authenticity.
