Dates on these random year coins will be of our choosing and may or may not vary, determined by stock on hand.

The Morgan Dollar holds a special place in U.S. coinage as it was the first coin to feature Lady Liberty with an American look, rather than the traditional Greek style. Her cap is adorned with wheat and cotton as a tribute to America's agricultural history.

The image of the eagle was also updated for the Morgan Dollar, showing a proportionally correct eagle with beautifully designed feathers. He carries an olive branch, showing America's desire for peace, and is perched atop a bundle of arrows, signifying America's readiness to defend her borders against attack.

The Morgan Dollar flooded the markets from 1878-1904. Nearly two decades after production halted, the Morgan Dollar was seen again for one year only, in 1921, due to a renewed desire for this iconic, beautiful design.

Met my expectations for BU coins

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I received nine different dates/mint marks from 1883-O to 1898 so I'm very pleased with the variety. All are BU coins with two exceptions, an 1884-O that is an AU coin. That was offset by a spectacular 1898 that is well worth sending off to be stabbed and graded. I reasonably expect an MS64+ or MS65 grade on it.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Cons
  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Morgan Silvers

Great coins! All BU or better as advertised and at a decent price however, all coins high mintage and 7 the same date(1896) as expected. Though I would be surprised... guess not! I think APMEX could have done a little better.

  • Attractive Design

Morgan BU coins FINALLY

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Predictable dates however these were nice for BU, better than the minimum that technically qualifies for BU that is normally sold. So very happy with condition for BU, maybe my expectations of BU and what is being purchased and offered as BU are actually somehow syncing up. Pleasant surprise Love the feel and design of Morgans.

Took a chance, was disappointed

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Was looking for a "junk silver" purchase with at least some rarity value. I knew that these were going to be random dates going in, but 15 out of 20 were the exact same coin, all dates were extremely common, and only 2 had mint marks. Was hoping for a little more variety... guess I'm just unlucky. The BU quality was as advertised, though. I'm still a happy APMEX customer, but probably won't buy this again.
