1922-1925 Peace Silver Dollars BU (Random Years, 20-Count Roll)

Dates on these random year coins will be of our choosing and may or may not vary, determined by stock on hand.

The Peace Dollar is highly sought after by collectors, as it experienced one of the briefest minting periods of any U.S. currency and also was the last Silver Dollar to be minted. This popular design was minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935, due to changes in legislation.

Anthony di Francisci's Peace Dollar was the result of a contest looking for a new dollar design. His unique rendition of Lady Liberty was based on the actual Statue of Liberty, resulting in a patriotic and familiar look. The eagle on the reverse clutches an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing peace and commemorating the peace seen after WWI.

My first venture into Peace Dollars. Excellent buy. All are in brilliant uncirculated condition. All are Philadelphia, mostly 1922, except 2 from 1923 and 1 from 1924. I was hoping for more variety, but at this quality and condition, I am very happy with my purchase. Nice start to collecting Peace Dollars.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design

Peace Dollars BU YES

Predictable dates however these were nice for BU, better than the minimum that technically qualifies for BU that is normally sold. So very happy with condition for BU, maybe my expectations of BU and what is being purchased and offered as BU are actually somehow syncing up(please continue being picky, appreciate that). Pleasant surprise Love the feel and design of Silver dollars, these and Morgans Need the Peace dollars to complement Morgans and Liberty half's. Actually got 1 '24 out of 40 so that was great.

Pros

  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Common (higher mintage)
