NGC population shows only 4 coins in Mint State and just 2 coins graded finer! Struck at the Cartagena Mint in what was to become Colombia, this 8 Escudo depicts King Ferdinand VII of Spain on the obverse. Crowned arms within the chain of the Order of the Fleece appear on the reverse. A nice early 19th century Gold coin graded Mint State 61 by NGC. KM#66.1.
