Error coins from nearly 100 years ago are always fun to find. This one is particularly special as it was broadstruck and has retained its full split bands.

This 90% Silver 1917-P Mercury Dime is graded an MS-65 FB by NGC.

The interesting fact about this coin is that it was broadstruck, making this a somewhat rare mint error on this second year of issue. With this coin also having Full Bands, makes it even more interesting. Great early date Mercury Dime in this condition.

Coin Highlights:
  • NGC encapsulation offers protection and guarantees the MS-65 FSB Broadstruck condition of the coin.
  • Designed by Adolph Weinman.
  • Obverse: Depicts a young Liberty with a winged Phrygian cap reminiscent of the Roman god Mercury.
  • Reverse: Features an olive branch and a fasces (a bound bundle of wood including an axe with blade emerging).

Protect and display your graded coin in style by adding an attractive display box to your order.

This coin would be a great addition to any collection so act now and add to your cart today!
