This Gold coin dates from the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Phocas (602-610 AD) and was produced at the Constantinople mint.

Coin Highlights:

  • Graded and authenticated as Almost Uncirculated by NGC.
  • Struck slightly off center and is noted as crimped.
  • Obverse: Shows a facing bust of Phocas with the inscription "dNN FOCAS PERP AVG".
