This nearly 3-inch in diameter bronze medal was distributed during the World's Fair in 1892 and 1893.

Medal Highlights:
  • Designed by both Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Charles Barber.
  • Composed of bronze.
  • Obverse: Effigy of Christopher Columbus landing in the America's.
  • Reverse: Pays homage to the Columbian Exposition in celebration of 400 years since the landing.
