Product DetailsThis large Gold 4 Escudos was struck at the Cartagena Mint when Colombia was a part of the Spanish colonies in South America.
Certified Gold from 18th century Colombia!
The obverse of this historic coin carries a likeness of King Charles III of Spain. Crowned arms within a chain are on the reverse.
Its fineness is .875 with an actual Gold weight of .3920 oz. This example has been graded F-12 by NGC. Eighteenth century Gold coins from Columbia this well preserved don't show up with much frequency, so don't miss out!
