Step-by-step selling process:

  • 1. Call Us or Request a Quote

    Let us know what you are looking to sell and in what quantity. If you request a quote online you will receive an offer in less than two business hours with the ability to checkout online. If you prefer a personalized experience, call our experts at (800) 514-6318.

  • 2. Lock In Your Price

    Once we have determined the product and quantity you want to sell, our team will quote you a price and lock in that price online or over the phone. Your transaction is locked at that time so you are not at risk of market movement while your metals are in transit to APMEX. If you wish to trade for a product on APMEX.com, that can be discussed at this point.

  • 3. Pack Your Product

    When you use APMEX Logistics, we will email you prepaid shipping labels and complete instructions on how to securely package your items in a new, unmarked box. If these packing instructions are not followed, APMEX Logistics insurance coverage may be impacted in the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit. Once your package is ready, drop it off at the approved carrier location shown on your APMEX Logistics label. Please keep in mind that carriers may refuse packages that are not properly and securely packed. If you do not ship your items within two business days of order creation, or if you choose to cancel the transaction, the Market Loss Policy you agreed to at account setup will apply.

    Please note: APMEX Logistics shipments must be packed in a new, unmarked outer box. Reused boxes are not permitted.

  • 4. APMEX Verification

    Once your entire order has made it to our facility, our Receiving team will verify the correct product and quantities, and use our best-in-class proprietary processes to authenticate each item. Our knowledgeable Numismatic team is on-site to assist in verifying collectible items as needed.

Please also keep in mind that our free minimum buy back is $1,000 (USD) anything below this amount will have a $40 service fee deducted from final payout, we do not purchase raw ungraded pennies, jewelry items (rings, necklaces, etc..) and unrefined precious metals (dust, nuggets, etc...)
