This .999 fine Silver, partially gilded and colored coin honors Virgin Mary. It is also called the Seven Arrows icon of the Mother of God (Theotokos). According to legend, the earliest glorification of this icon was found by a farmer of Kandikovsky County. He visited the St. John-Bogolyubsk church and found the icon in the bell tower, and it was being used as a floorboard on a stairway landing. Another name for this icon is "The Softening of Evil Hearts." On the reverse is the profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
