The reverse of the 2008 coin depicts a mother and baby koala sitting on a tree branch. The design also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mint mark. The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 1/10oz coins. Issued by The Perth Mint as Australian Legal Tender, these Gold coins portray one of Australia's most recognizable animals, the Koala.
Each coin contains 1/10th of an ounce of 99.99 fine Gold. AGW= 0.10 of an ounce.
