The artwork is exceptional on this high relief issue. The reverse side depicts a werewolf howling at the moon, just as written many times in the mythical legend of werewolves. You can't have a werewolf without a full moon, and this coin certainly has one to show, (a minutely engraved piece of marble). I think the size and position of the moon fits very well. I also like the font style used in coins' title "Werewolf" and how its somewhat cloaked in the tree branches, again a nice touch.

This coin was OOS for a long time. When I received the "IN STOCK" email from APMEX I bought two immediately. Significant to point out that this is a two (2) ounce coin. Much more attractive and detailed than the online picture illustration. The title states this is one of a collection of Mythical Creatures. I will be buying the entire series if possible.

this is an unbelievable attempt which has made not only the mythical creatures cool but show palau shelling out the best itis expensive but they rock out on the werewolf buy it for a gift to someone you love and they will be jaw dropped if into silver or numismatics you all enjoy this is william "the joker" have a good one
