This Gold Solidus dates from the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Phocas (602 - 610 AD). It contains 4.47g actual Gold weignt and was produced at the Constantinople mint.

The reverse shows VICTORIA AVGY and an angel standing holding a long staff. CONOB appears below. Officinae I.
