MACEDONIA (Under Roman Rule) This Silver Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.7g), was minted sometime from 167- 149 BC. Issued for use in Macedonia which occupied a large section of northern Greece.
Obverse: Macedonian shield at center bust of Artemis Tauropolos.
Reverse: Club within oak wreath.
This coin has been graded Choice Fine by NGC. A very nice example of a 2100 years old Silver coin!
