I like tis product alot. Some people don't like paying the premiums, but it has it's benefits, such as: The Silver Eagle coin is the legal tender silver coin for the United States with a $1 face value, however, its intrinsic silver market value is far higher. The Silver Eagle is an extremely liquid silver investment backed by the United States government. The Silver Eagle can be used in legal contracts based on their $1 face value, but they are traded according to the market rate for silver. The Silver Eagle has a beautiful design recognized and highly tradable all over the world. The Silver Eagle garners the highest bid prices for silver bullion in North America. The Silver Eagle in the United States is the most recognized and trusted silver investment vehicle on the market. The Silver Eagle is .999 fine silver and acceptable for your precious metal IRA. The Silver Eagle has 1 oz fine silver stamped in English on the coin. US Silver Eagles are .999 fine silver bullion coins making them an excellent hedge against a currency crisis and a great option for emergency coinage The Silver Eagle is exempt from IRS 1099B brokerage reporting which makes the American Silver Eagle one of the most private investments in the world.

Read many great reviews. Ordered 2 random years and did receive 2009 and 2013. Disappointed with 2009 as there were numerous scratches on the reverse and some on the obverse. 2013 obverse was mint condition, but the back had a sizable black mark and chip in the M letter of America. Price is great, but condition greatly matters as well.

If you want random, good luck, all I got was 2014 issue so buyer beware. Kind of took all the fun out of looking forward to seeing what variety was available. I suggest calling them to see if they only have 2014 available when placing an order for "random year issues". Otherwise, happy with the quality and service.

I made a mistake when I did my latest wire transfer and entered the wrong order number. I called APMEX and a correction was made and I recieved an email update within 30 minutes. I was good with that, but I then got a follow-up phone call from a representative assuring me they recieved funding. Great service!!

If you live in the USA this coin should be the anchor of your silver bullion holdings (I personally recommend only coins minted by governments). I go 50/50 with Canadian Maple Leafs to diversify my bullion holdings, and my bullion makes up 50% of my silver investments. The other 50% is US 90% coin silver. These are great coins for stacking, and will be beneficial in a barter environment.
