    90% Silver Coins

Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

The U.S. Mint has been the producer of some of the most iconic coins in U.S. history. The Roosevelt Dime series is another testament to the Mint’s craftsmanship, offering a timeless piece of American numismatic heritage.

Old bank roll

They are all beautiful and mint. My only dissappointment was they were all 1 date, 1960 D. Don't get me wrong still happy, but like a child that didn't get what he was hoping for, lol.

BU stands for Beat Up

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I have bought dozens of rolls of bankrolled coins from APMEX and had to return 2 so far because of the condition of the coins. This would be the third, but I’m going to keep them. I’ve learned a lesson I’m just not going to buy any more bankroll coins . Condition is terrible. I would say fine at best nowhere near business uncirculated.

  • Poor Condition

  • No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not "tightly wrapped" like description stated

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I wish they let you post a picture with your review on here. One end of the roll came like someone opened and tampered with it. All 1963 a common year. I was planning on not opening these maybe ever but I would have had to literally tape one end it was completely uncrimped. The coins weren't what I would consider BU either. super bummed out.

as expected

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

It didn't dawn on me until after I ordered this roll that they would all be the same date. The roll I got was 1959 and it was quite exciting seeing the old roll. While BU, the coins in this roll were from dies in a late state and so won't grade high but seeing all the die cracks were fascinating.

All the Same Year, As Noted

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Love the vintage and nostalgic items on APMEX. So much so that I decided to invest in this particular product. The product came as advertised...the year '1960' was written in marker on the coin roll, which made me wonder if this was handwritten by a cherrypicker, or was actually the handwriting from way back when. A mystery. Interesting item...might be possible to get graded some day. Thanks, APMEX.

This will be fun to unwrap!

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I bought myself a nice Christmas present to unwrap. I am excited to receive and unwrap this Original Bank Roll from Apmex. I have purchased several of these rolls and Apmex has not let me down. The last one in September was 1946S. The one before that was a 1959D roll. All are blast white BU except the end pieces that were dark toned, but I won't complain about that. I'm excited to see what this OBR Roosevelt DIMES will be. You all will wish you got a few of them in the near future. Nobody will lose with this purchase! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone and all the staff at Apmex!

Bank wrapped 90% Silver Roosevelt DIMES BU

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Original Bank Roll of 1960 P dimes. All were blast white. Had a couple errors and all were Mint State. I have purchased several of the OBR 90% dimes and quarters. I received a couple of 1964's, but there have been a lot of really good dates. Some 1949's and a couple in the 1950's. You never know, but having the brilliant white silver in hand is awesome. Thanks APMEX, I can't wait until I get the next roll!
