The Silver Maple Leaf is an elegant coin, and the 1988 mintage is particularly so because it uses Arnold Machin's beautiful effigy of a young Queen Elizabeth II. This effigy is much more refined than the current Susanna Blunt effigy and was only used for the first two years of Silver Maple Leaf mintage, making this coin a must-have.

I have always loved the Maple Leaf. I was impressed by the quality of the coin I received. It was Brilliant and almost in proof condition. I would recommend this to any buyer but would also suggest that when you order, go over the $99 free shipping offer. It is well worth it.
