  • How do I sell to APMEX?

    Selling your items to APMEX is easy, as it should be. When you are ready to sell items to us, just follow these simple steps:

    1. If you have not already done so, open a free account online.

    2. Call us at (800) 514-6318 and lock in your price.

    3. Securely pack and ship your items* in a new, unmarked box.

    4. Include the provided detailed packing slip and the confirmation number you receive from the APMEX agent.

    *NOTE: Currently we can only purchase from international customers if the items are being stored at a Citadel Depository.

    By selling to APMEX and using our APMEX Logistics, you agree to the APMEX Logistics Terms & Conditions.

  • Can I go in person to pick up my order?

    APMEX wants to be your one-stop shop for Precious Metal purchases. That is why we offer our APMEX Club Members scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs. To request a scheduled pick-up or drop-off, call our sales team, who will help you place an order and schedule your pick-up at our location by calling 800-375-9006 option 1.

    Due to the ever-changing marketplace, we reserve the right to determine which orders qualify for pick-up or drop-off.

  • Can I change my payment method?

    In many cases we can change your payment method. Please see the options below.

    Options to keep your 4.167% discount:

    Bank wire to check
    Check to bank wire
    Bank wire or check to eCheck (if eligible)

    Options to earn a 4.167% discount:

    Credit card to check or bank wire
    PayPal to check or bank wire
    Credit card or PayPal to eCheck (if eligible)

    Changing payment to credit card:

    PayPal to credit card (No price change)
    Check to credit card (Surrender cash discount)
    Bank wire to credit card (Surrender cash discount)

    If changing to bank wire or check, you may email, chat or call us to make the change.

    Changing to PayPal, Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash is not permitted as these are only available as payment options when your order is placed on our website. At this time, we cannot change an existing order from Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash to another payment method unless the payment could not be validated (at which time you will be contacted by APMEX customer service).

  • Have you received my payment?

    We send email confirmation the moment your payment has been processed and applied to the order. If you have not received an email from us, your payment has not yet been processed.

  • How long will it take to get my package?

    APMEX generally packages and ships your order the following way (applies to domestic orders only):

    Credit Card, Bank Wire, PayPal, Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash Orders (containing Pre-33 Gold, kilo Gold bars, Jewelry, other items not designated with the QuickShip® logo or orders shipped to our Citadel subsidiary) - Ship within 3 business days following the date of confirmed payment.
    Credit Card, Bank Wire, PayPal, Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash Orders (not containing Pre-33 Gold, kilo Gold bars, Jewelry, other items not designated with the QuickShip® logo or orders shipped to our Citadel subsidiary) - Ship within 1 business day* following the date of confirmed payment.
    All Personal Check and eCheck Orders - Order is held 4-6 business days after payment is processed before shipping. Additional holding days may be added if your bank delays confirmation of your check payment. Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, we no longer view bank/certified/cashier’s checks to be “as good as cash”. They are now also held for verification of funds.
    C.O.C. Orders (containing Pre-33 Gold or Jewelry) - Ship within 3 business days following the order date.
    C.O.C. Orders (not containing Pre-33 Gold or Jewelry) - Ship within 1 business day following the order date.

    All these timelines exclude weekends and holidays.
    * APMEX will provide our QuickShip® Program with next-day processing of domestic orders not including Pre-33 Gold, kilo Gold bars or Jewelry paid by credit card, PayPal, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash or bank wires. Restrictions apply. Orders containing product(s) not designated with the QuickShip® logo may be subject to fulfillment delays.
