$20 Federal Reserve Notes

APMEX offers a fine selection of $20 Federal Reserve notes, issued from 1928 to date. Federal Reserve notes are the small sized paper currency still used in the U.S. today. Once printed in denominations of $1.00 through $10,000, now $100 is largest denomination printed in these notes. Federal Reserve notes are the country’s only form of paper money issued since the mid-1960s.

The face of the $20 Federal Reserve Note features a portrait of Andrew Jackson. The back of the $20 Federal Reserve Note features a vignette of the south view of the White House.

It is a good idea to explore other paper currency to compare options you are interested in collecting. Another popular choice is the American $500 bill, which is no longer being printed. This note was discontinued in 1969, contributing to its relative rarity today when compared to the $20 note, which is still actively produced.
