Worn (the actual bug) as decoration by early Greeks, the Stag Beetle is nowadays sometimes kept as a pet in Asia. They can be quite large (but are harmless). These replications in 999 Ag are beautiful - wings extended and ready for flight! As with most unusual things, their name comes from a likeness to antlers of a deer - - go figure! At any rate, a nice addition to the series.
