About Theodore Roosevelt National Park
Theodore Roosevelt National Park is an American national park comprising three geographically separated areas of badlands in western North Dakota.

The Chippewa (Anglicization of Ojibwe), are an Anishinaabe people in what is currently southern Canada and the northern Midwestern United States. In the United States, they have the fifth-largest population among Native American peoples.

By the end of the 18th century, the Chippewa controlled nearly all of present-day Michigan, northern Wisconsin, and Minnesota, including most of the Red River area. They also controlled the entire northern shores of lakes Huron and Superior on the Canadian side and extending westward to the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota.
