Using special dies, the R&D lab was able to engrave behind the reverse’s top plate, which cuts away to present a more multidimensional rendering of this classic coin design featuring a cherished Canadian emblem.

I was very intriged how this coin was made. I had to see one up close to grasp the beauty of it. Upon getting this Beaver I could hardly wait to open it up and take a look at it. It was a sealed package from the RMC. When I opened it and looked, to my suprise I found that it was an error coin. WHAT A FIND! Straight from the mint.

I liked the intristic design (I was captivated on how it was made). I am so glade that apmex support did not take back this coin. Upon looking into it I am now a proud owner of a mint error coin from Canada. What a find in an un-opened mint package.
