Eagle Privy Silver Eagles
Following their historic release of the Silver Eagle Star Privy coin, the US Mint has produced a bullion Silver American Eagle with an eagle privy mark. Though used occasionally for numismatic coins, this release is only the second appearance of a privy mark on a U.S. Mint bullion coin. Additionally, these coins are limited to a production of just 500,000 coins, making them one of the lowest mintage Silver Eagles to date.
U.S. Mint – Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Mint continues to be a cornerstone in American coin production, known for its precise craftsmanship and iconic releases. This 2025 Silver Eagle is another testament to the Mint's dedication to quality and innovation.
MintDirect® Premier + PCGS FirstStrike®
MintDirect® Premier + PCGS FirstStrike® is a unique service that guarantees your coins are received exactly as they left the U.S. Mint. Each MintDirect® Tube is carefully sealed to ensure it remains unopened. For MintDirect® Singles, each coin is individually selected from the tube and placed into a secure polymer case, along with an authentication card. This process preserves every coin's original condition and authenticity, straight from mint-sealed boxes. The PCGS FirstStrike® label means these coins are eligible for FirstStrike® designation if submitted to PCGS in the original packaging. FirstStrike® means the coins were shipped from the U.S. Mint within the first 30 days of the coin’s release. The MintDirect® + PCGS FirstStrike® label of authenticity is an exclusive feature available only through APMEX.
IRA-Eligible
Coins that are IRA-eligible can be included in a self-directed Individual Retirement Account (IRA), allowing investors to diversify their retirement portfolios with physical precious metals. As the IRS requires, these coins must meet specific purity standards, such as .999 fine silver or .9995 fine platinum. Like specific American Eagles, IRA-eligible coins offer a secure and tangible way to invest in precious metals.
Why Choose This Coin?
The combination of the first-ever eagle privy mark, and the prestigious MintDirect® Premier and PCGS FirstStrike® designation make this coin a rare and highly sought-after collector's item. Its rarity and eligibility for FirstStrike® status set it apart from similar products.
