Stay tuned for the full release of Oklahoma Goldbacks coming soon!
Goldbacks resemble standard paper currency in shape but are made with thin layers of 24-karat gold. Initially introduced in Utah following the Utah Legal Tender Act of 2019, they serve as a voluntary currency, allowing transactions at the vendor's discretion. Since then, additional states—Nevada, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and South Dakota and Florida have each launched their own Goldbacks in subsequent years, with Oklahoma becoming the seventh state to adopt this unique form of currency.
Currency Highlights:
- Limited release of only 4,000 notes.
- Contains 3/1000 oz (0.003 oz) of .999 fine gold.
- Housed in a PMG graded archival quality assay.
- Face: Set at the beautiful Black Mesa State Park in Oklahoma, this note depicts a female country artist - a nod to the many notable country stars that grace the State of Oklahoma.
- Manufactured in the United States of America.

Goldbacks
The Goldback® is a revolutionary form of currency crafted from 24-karat gold, offering a reliable alternative as the American dollar continues to lose value. Each Goldback is designed to preserve purchasing power over time, addressing the age-old “small coin problem” by allowing people to make everyday transactions with real gold. While inflation erodes the value of paper currency, the Goldback’s intrinsic gold content ensures that it will hold its worth.
Recognized as legal tender in states like Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, New Hampshire, South Dakota, and Florida, and now Oklahoma—Goldbacks can be traded or bartered like other non-current forms of currency worldwide. This currency blends gold’s enduring value with modern craftsmanship, providing a versatile and practical means of exchange that won’t depreciate, making it a sound choice for those seeking stability in their everyday spending.
