Perth Silver Griffin
A griffin (or gryphon) is a legendary creature with the body, tail and back legs of a lion, combined with the head, wings and talons of an eagle, symbolizing power, majesty and guardianship over treasure, originating from ancient Middle Eastern and Egyptian myths and spreading through Greek and European folklore. These majestic creatures have a place in art and mythology. Notably, the Griffin was recognized as good steeds for pharaohs in Egypt as protectors against evil in Persia and fierce warriors in Greek tales.
