Coin is beautiful but i did not receive it in a case and not in BU condition
New Here. First time order. Did not meet expectation. Listing said the coin will come in a protective case. It was not even in a vinyl. It was just in a ziplock. Most of the edge and part of the rim has marks. The coin itself is beautiful.

This is another excellent coin in the Somali Elephant series. Beautiful, proof-like coin minted in Germany arrived to me flawless (without using a loupe.)

I purchased this coin because it is another in the African Wildlife Series, its low mintage and general eye appeal. The designs change yearly which makes these coins quite collectible. My only criticism is that most of the coin is mirrored and does not show luster contrasts which I find attractive. Nevertheless, a very nice coin.

If you collect 1oz silver coins, this would make a very great addition. The premium is not as high as other limited/special edition coins. And it's beautiful enough to collect and look at! Great buy!

I've made several buys from APMEX: 1.) The coins I received are always in near perfect condition. If they are advertised as Brilliant Uncirculated I know they will be in that condition. 2.) Shipping is very fast and packaging is excellent -- every time so far. The "Elephant" coins from Somalia are beautiful, shiny and without blemish. The design is stunning. I bought five of them. APMEX charges a very high premium over spot for them, but I had to have them!
