I tend to buy Perth mint coins Kangaroos, Kooka's, Koala's, and lunar. They all tend to go up in price because of the quality and limited minting, and these will be not exception. one of the best designs yet for lunar coins. Bought both colorized and non-colorized, to have a variety.

We are expecting our first child later this year. Being 2012 and born in the year of the dragon, I wanted to get something to commemorate his birth. As my son grows older, this will one day be passed down to him. I hope one day he can appreciate this coin. The attention to detail and sheen of this coin is AMAZING.

Slightly larger than their Koala and Kookaburra 10oz rounds, as is with the 1oz rounds, make this 10oz Silver round a beast. Very nice coin! Original plastic capsule secures the silver in place for decades of viewing and admiration. Australian silver is some of the finest minted silver on the planet. You can’t go wrong with these. Another lovely piece of silver artwork from the Perth Mint, their products exude quality and finish, the images really can't do this round justice. It seems that Dragons and Tigers are the most popular in the lunar series, so pick up one of these while you can.
