I picked up this coin because I really loved the design, and it looks even better in person. I'm sure all of the versions of the Perth Year of the Dragon look great, but in a 5 ozt size it's gorgeous and huge. The premium is a little high, but to me it's definitely worth it.

I purchased one of these as a present for my Father for his birthday; he was born in the year of the Dragon. I also thought, might as well get two and add one to my own silver collection at the same time. I am really glad that I did, they are beautiful coins, the nicest I have ever seen! The dragon, pearl and profile of Elizabeth are mirror finished and really nice.Also, the overall look and feel of the coin is fantastic.

I have always enjoyed this classic dragon design. The dragon with the pearl of wisdom within his grasp. Beautifully executed. The contrast on this coin makes it one of my favorite Perth Mint designs. Sorry I didn't get the 10 oz version when they were available. So glad I have two of these treasures.
