The chain was a little thinner than I was expecting from the picture. However it still looks great and feels good to buy from a reputable dealer.

These necklaces just don't work for 1 oz coins. Bought a Nuie hawksbill turtle for the wife with 40.6 mm bezel and this chain. Too much weight for this chain. She did however, put the coin/bezel on another thick, stiff sterling chain she had for a much better result. Bottom line: this chain will likely work for much smaller coins, so pay a few hundred for a thicker, stiffer chain if you want to gift a full ounce coin as a pendant.
