This kilogram bar is a great addition to my collection. It's a great, chunky, very tactile piece to hold, and is a nice member of my collection of kilogram bars of base metals. Well proportioned, packaged in a shrink fit sealed plastic covering that doesn't interfere with handling the bar, and goes well with the precious metals holdings from Geiger.

You can't judge the value of this poured Cu kilo by copper's per-pound price. The value, to me, is in the "fun" factor and being able to display it for visitors to see and hold. It also makes a great paper weight, which I would not advise if it was made of silver or gold!
