I'll be honest. I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean and saw the Oro Muerta Coin/ Gold Doubloon. So I looked it up. Found the Plata Muerta/ Silver Doubloon on Apmex and bought this 100 gram coin. If youre going to buy precious metals why not have a little fun doing it once in a while. ...Savvy?!

I now have all three weights, 25, 50, & 100 gram. Love hand poured silver, and this piece is great. Good detail, nice feel in hand, and excellent addition to my stack. Highly . Recommend for collectors of Pirate themed Silver. This 100 gram is large and difficult to find a protective case, but I'm thinking I'll leave it on my desk to be touched and toned. Will look great!

This is a really cool piece and more so when it sits in the hand. Silver and skulls work so well together. Now I wanna get several more and put 'em in a treasure chest with a bed of silver shot. So chunky.
