The two coins I received were in proof mint condition and even came in protective clear cases that screw open and closed. That was a nice touch because I would have had to buy them. I can't say what your coin(s) will look like or if they will come in a capsule. But I'm always satisfied with my APMEX purchases.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful coin. My first British Sovereign. Received a 2010, came in capsule from the mint. Good way to acquire a little bit of gold here and there. Being mostly a silver investor/collector, 1/10 and slightly larger coins are a great way to slowly accumulate gold without spending thousands of dollars. Packaged perfectly.

- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful little proof coin. Highly polished and sharp details. Advertised as 1980 date. Purchased because the date has significance to me. Received one 1980 coin but the other one I purchased with it was dated 1988. Was somewhat disappointed. Suspect it's a typo, and should read 1980s Dates. Beautiful coins. Have no Intention of returning. I'd still recommend them.
