I got three essentially brand new bars. Two were suiss (with sequential serial #) and one pamp. This is a great way to buy gold in small increments imo.

I opted to pick up some fractionals during an at-spot flash sale. To my surprise, and despite being secondary market, each and every bar came in assay. I received two Istanbul Gold Refinery bars, three Perth Mint bars, and five Valcambi bars. All were in excellent condition (the Perths even still have the peel-away plastic cling film on the assays). APMEX was also available to help talk through some delivery issues caused by my local post office. Really pleased with this order.

bought 3 10g Au bars. Had concerns since they were secondary market. Received 3 very nice Perth Mint bars. No assay but looked close to mint. no complaints.

At first, I hesitated to purchase in the secondary market out of concern from the randomness and possible poor condition. I decided to go with 10g ingots and was pleased with what arrived. I have made two such purchases. The first batch was minted by Perth Mint and in beautiful condition. The second was Istanbul Gold Refinery. Although not a known brand to me, the small ingots were in plastic jackets and in absolutely perfect condition. With the small denomination products, usually the premium over spot is outrageous. But not so in this case. I am happy to recommend this product.

The product was not in the original packaging as expected because it was a secondary market product but APMEX team did a phenomenal job with packing (I personally thought that it was over-packaged! ). I wanted a lady Fortuna and I got one. Very happy with the purchase.

My first order from APMEX and I bought 2 10gr secondary market gold bars. I thought they would be in plastic bags w/o the original packaging. Much to my surprise they were perfect, never been opened name brand gold bars! The only difference between these and the new ones I bought from another seller is price. I will be buying more!
