I used to buy only coins minted here in the USA. But now, year after year I find myself buying more and more from Perth. The Aussies have some very talented engravers and sculptors which is clearly reflected in the caliber of their craftsmanship. My favorites have been their Lunar Year series, Platinum Platypus, and their Wedge Tailed Eagle series where they enlisted wonderful talent of our chief engraver J. Mercanti, which I consider his best work. Now, with this set, I have a new addition to my favorites list.

These coins are beautiful! I love both of them but the proof coin is my favorite. The display box is not as good as I thought it would be from the Perth mint but it displays them nicely. I think I'm going to buy another one. Thanks Apmex for perfect packaging and fast shipping! You're the best!!!
