Had a few APMEX related issues with making this purchase. Once I contact APMEX customer, explained the series of events, they were very interested in resolving things in a fair way. I rate companies not only on how easy a transaction goes thru but how they deal with things if a problem arises. APMEX did a 5 star job and just confirmed why I do business with them.

Easy liquidity + preservation of purchasing power. Although some of the bars I have received may not be in "perfect, mint condition", gold is a tangible, hard asset and keep in mind why you are accumulating gold (and silver)...as financial insurance.
