The only reason a perfect 5 wasn’t given was because when ever possible I purchase enough coins to get the full page, or sheet or sealed tube from the mint for a more collectors feel. Well I got a sheet of ten and the rest in separate loose and sealed. I did get them once on sale and got a real good price over spot comapired to the afternoon on the same day and even now sold out... so I’m happy I got as many as I did (31ct)but still didn’t get them the way I wanted. APMEX offered to replace them but I don’t see that happening since only 5K minted and sold out already. Over all super happy and the coins are one of the highlights of my modest collection.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This coin is the best Dragon I have seen. Only 5k, meaning 1,000’s of collectors that want one, simply will not get one. And you can’t have mine. Wish I could afford a Monster Box. I got 2, both would pass for a 70 rateing in any House. All most forgot, it’s the first coin in a series of 8. Can’t wait to see the next 7!!!!??
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line

The stock photos do not do this coin justice. It comes sealed in an OGP capsule and plastic (much like commemorative pandas). The finish is proof-like which really adds eye appeal. An inexpensive way to collect such an iconic coin from China’s imperial past. Can’t wait to see what the other 7 designs in the series look like
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
