This fine Silver 1 oz coin celebrates a new series featuring dynastic Chinese imagery, in the case of the first issue from the Ming Dynasty emulating a fine detailed production of the official Jiajing Emperor.
The Dragon in the center holds the Chinese character sheng, which means "divine" or "imperial majesty." The characters above it (fu on the right and bi on the left) generally signify "to add" or "to support." In this case they refer to the dragon, a well-known symbol of imperial authority.

3 years, & 400 coins into this game. I have come to find out that Scottsdale Mint goes that extra mile to be one of the very best. Packaged in a capsule, then vacuum sealed on cardboard with thick plastic. Every coin a predict 70. I have started shopping the Mint. TheCameroon Dragon coin is very nice. But when I took it off the Cardboard, whoosh, the back of the coin is so simplistic, yet elegant. Reverse proof, vary pleasing to the eye. It got my vote. Get one, you can’t go wrong.
