20 Franc Marianne Rooster Gold Coin
Seen as a representation of faith and hope since the medieval period, the rooster became an unofficial symbol of France and its positive advance as a nation. Super happy with this purchase! I was expecting a later date restrike, which still would have been a great bullion coin, but was pleasantly surprised to receive an original coin struck in 1906. What a beautiful coin!
