I own several silver coins produced at the South Africa Mint and every one is of the finest quality. Unlike some other mints, even their BU issues are of the best standard. This Big Five series looks to be one to collect. Even the blister pack has nice quality. Dramatic portraits and release dates of the forthcoming issues is nicely done.

I lived in South Africa for almost four years, and the Big Five were a big part of the culture. The elephant was always my favorite, so this coin and the ones to follow are great reminders of my childhood. It's a limited mintage, and that makes it even better. The coin itself is beautiful and well-made, comes in great packaging. I cannot wait to collect the rest of the set.
