I anticipated this set to skyrocket right out of the gate, especially with the recent upsurge in precious metals. Attracted to the rarity of both coins from two countries; the "first day of issue," the PF70 rating, and the PCGS label, made this purchase a no-brainer. However, based upon the recent spot price, these coins have a long way to go before they turn a profit.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Hard to Sell
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Rarity is the game maker on this one.I bought three US sets and a RCM. They are very different from any other eagle or Maple Leaf. They also have a 100,000 US sets and 10,000 RCM sets. The only thing I found odd was on the US sets I got had the Canadian flag first and the US flag second on coin slabs.Just a small thing but could be a big thing as time goes by.I hope not. Because I have seen other sets that had it correct on the slab headers. Coins are a winner and are going to be a money maker in a few years in my opinion. Another winner APMEX
