After three lunar ox designs (1997, 2009 series I and II) which well conveyed the powerful, majestic and noble characteristics of this particular animal, 2021's lazy, cartoonish offering is a flat disappointment. The responsible parties at the Perth Mint who approved this design should be embarrassed. Would recommend for series collectors but certainly not on its artistic merits. APMEX service was exemplary as usual.
