Nice coin. Love the edge lettering. Pretty cool to own something that someone probably had during the Bolshevik Revolution. Also, one of the last coins with Nicholas II. The finish is sort of dull. If this is true of all of these, I would attribute it to the minting methods. Still a great coin. Mine was from 1899 and there's a high likelihood the one you buy will be too. Mintages below: Year Mintage 1898 200,000 1899 27,600,000 1900 6,021,000 1901 2,377,000 1902 2,019,000 1903 2,817,000 1904 1,025,000 1906 10 1909 50,000 1910 100,000 1911 50,000

I have kept this coin in my wish list for some time. I had to purchase since the .25 AGW works well for my stack. I wanted this coin to join with my Russian Chervonet from the Cold War period. The Ruble arrived in a better than expected grade and I couldn't be happier to enjoy the Beautiful Russian crest of the house of Romanov. One could only imagine where we would be had the coup never succeeded. Thanks Again Apmex

I received this nineteenth century Russian coin for my European coin collection of the era with historical significance. The coin had no major defects only even average wear and good color. The evenness of the wear without defect tells me this coin was carefully carried perhaps worn by rubbing for good luck. It connects me to the past.

- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
