Another nice score!

Received three rounds and all had some 'character' to them. One is an A-Mark minted in 1985, the second is a Liberty Eagle, mintage unknown and the third is a Buffalo round minted in 2001. All three came unsealed, not a deal breaker to me though. Very happy with the variety!

  • Pros

  • Easy to Sell
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Pleasantly Surprised

I bought these because of the low spot, I'm not a collector, I just wanted the silver. For the collectors it's a mixed bag they were all buffalo, but the positive is they were all BU minted only a couple months ago. They came in handy tubes for storage and also came with an apmex monster box.

Disappointed

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I thought that I would receive a mix of 10 silver rounds. Instead they were all the same, in a packaged sleeve of 10. They all had the APMEX logo design with the waves on one side and stars on the other; very boring. Maybe purchasing in smaller, odd numbered amounts, you might receive a mix of different rounds.

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Recognized Brand
  • Cons
  • Unattractive Design
  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Hard to Sell
  • Bottom Line
  • No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought 10 when they were on sale and got a variety with a few duplicates, which is no problem. Received two S.S. Gairsoppa ship wreck rounds, and that was pretty interesting. Everything was in great condition.

Good for stacking weight

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

You get mixed rounds I got a Christmas round and a round from the 80s. Very good condition. A little toning and tarnish but easy to use a coin Dip cleaner to get rid of. These rounds are good for stacking weight and have a very low premium over spot. Also good to sell in case one doesn't want to sell their prized coins or rounds. I will order these again because it's a cheaper way to stack and it's fun knowing you'll get random designs. Thank you apmex.

Nice variety

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I received a good mix of rounds, some shiny, some tarnished, kinda like junk silver with 1 oz-ers. While there wasn't anything particularly exceptional about the shipment, it was exactly what I ordered. I would definitely order these from APMEX again.

Excellent Quality at a Great Price Over Spot

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Drawn to a great price over the silver spot price, I purchased 40 secondary market 1-ounce silver rounds. Based on some of the reviews for these secondary market rounds, I had some expectation that the rounds may be dinged up, scratched, toned, or otherwise marred. However, I was exceptionally delighted to receive 40 BU-equivalent silver rounds with an absolutely beautiful duplication of the Standing Liberty Quarter motif. Although the original mint is not obvious, all were spot-on for weight, and the quality was excellent. I have no hesitation to purchase additional secondary market silver rounds from APMEX in the future.
