I initially bought this item as a way to store my fractional platinum pieces. It's big enough to store any bar with an assay (e.g. PAMP Suisse, Baird & Co., etc) and enough room to store my 1/10th ounce Platinum eagles in air tites.

These bags are outstanding. they are functional and presentable and would accent any suitable sized gift. protects metals. I think APMEX should keep them in stock and hopefully offer various sizes and even velour bags with a divider (partition) as this would provide extra protection for storing two coins. NOTE: This bag also holds 1oz coins in PGS and NCG coin holders perfect fit !

This is a nice little bag that can hold a fair amount of product for it's size and price. The outside is a nice soft velvet and there is a drawstring to close tightly. I have been able to fit two of any sized Assay cards from 1 gram to 1 ounce together comfortably and easily. This bag can hold four American Silver Eagles in their Air-Tites as well, without any problems. Eagles were placed side by side. The only downer I could find is the inside of the bag is made of a nylon-type mesh. I would not suggest placing raw metals in this bag as that "mesh" looks like it could scratch.
