I said the the same as some other reviewers, no assay, great... but, then I took it out and held it knowing I'm not trying to collect it but balance the portfolio, it's like butter in your hands, take one silver round and compare it, it's amazing in my opinion how good gold feels, it's better that it came in a sleeve, I woulda taken it out of the holder outta curiosity and then felt bad but it coming like that made it all better plus it's a BEAUTIFUL coin it was and still is in mint condition, thinking about putting it in a case for good but it's so nice just to hold for some reason

although received with no assay, was actually better that way as i'm trying to teach my daughter to invest and holding pure gold helped spike her interest. also a gorgeous coin, well minted no flaws

APMEX always goes above and beyond.This $50 .9999 gold Buffalo arrived in MS70 condition.I checked it with a 10x magnifying glass. It's just a bullion coin ,but the fact I was sent a perfect coin is the reason I keep using APMEX for my precious metals investments. Thank You.
