The American Gold Buffalo Coin Design
The Gold Buffalo coin is based on James Earle Fraser's famous Buffalo Nickel design. The obverse displays the famous Indian Head design. With classic buffalo artwork on the reverse this design was modeled off Black Diamond, the bison who lived in New York City's Central Park Zoo in the early 1900s. The Gold Buffalo brings back the design with finer detail and glory, creating a collectible coin that is both beautiful and valuable.
